WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Understand how to dance to live flamenco song & guitar
How to communicate with singer & guitarist
In Part 1 of MasterClass , dancers will learn to understand (and sing) a Letra of Bulerias por Soleá. ⁠the melody, the singer breaks, the possibilities of your remates
In Part 2 of MasterClass, ⁠after understanding the song, dancers then experiment with their own material to dance to the Letra, explore their remates, how to make their intentions clear, how to communicate with the singer and guitarist.
To understand how to dance flamenco, we also need to understand the cante. We need to have the tools to communicate with singer and guitarist so that we can experience our own flow & spontaneity.
Since we are in Jerez, we take the opportunity to study a Palo that is very much of Jerez
The masterclass is conducted by cantaora, Mercedes Cortés and guitarist, Jordi Flores

Sobre la Masterclass

Entender cómo bailar al cante y guitarra flamenca en directo
Cómo comunicarse con el cantaor y el guitarrista
En la Parte 1 de MasterClass , los bailaores aprenderán a entender (y cantar) una Letra de Bulerías por Soleá, la melodía, las posibilidades de sus remates
En la Parte 2 de MasterClass, después de entender la canción, experimentarán con su propio material para bailar la letra, explorar sus remates, cómo dejar claras sus intenciones, cómo comunicarse con el cantaor y el guitarrista.
Para entender cómo bailar flamenco, también necesitamos entender el cante. Necesitamos tener las herramientas para comunicarnos con el cantaor y el guitarrista para poder experimentar nuestra propia fluidez y espontaneidad.
Ya que estamos en Jerez, aprovechamos para estudiar un palo que es muy de Jerez
