What you gain from our courses are invaluable insights into
- How to dance to song & guitar;
- How to sing for dancer and with guitar accompaniment;
- How to the guitar accompanies singer and dancer.
With these online courses, you get to learn from not ONE, but ALL three perspectives: Dance, Song, Guitar. A holistic approach.
Use these insights to acquire your knowledge into how dancer - singer - guitarist communicate in live, spontaneous scenarios.
-------
If you don’t have a guitarist or singer.
If your next stage of learning is about live accompaniment (baile, cante, guitarra) but currently don’t have a singer or guitarist to work with, then this course will serve as a great way to prepare yourself.
Prepare for a time when you start to work with live accompaniment.
Equipping yourself with an understanding now, which you can then apply in your future practice when you DO have a dancer or singer or guitarist, to form your team.
That way, you would not be starting from scratch. You would already have some base of knowledge which you can apply and practice - in class, or on stage.
PLUS Use the insights you gain, to grow your flamenco appreciation.
- You can appreciate more of what you are seeing when you watch a flamenco performance whether live in the tablaos, or theatres, or on social media videos.
- Have a basic understanding from our first course, in order to analyse similar performances (eg the Tangos), learn from how the artists are doing it, and it could possibly give you further ideas.
- Analyse to understand why something is being done ( that the move is not just a choreography, but a signal)
------
If you have a guitarist or singer.
If you already have a team, or when that time comes for you to have your musicians, then you would not then be starting from zero.
Why? Because you would already have gained insights from our maestros, and have some examples & possibilities to practice with your team.
